Our snowsports team is based on those qualified through the British Association of Snowsports Instructors (BASI). So whether you are looking to venture onto skis, snowboard or snowblades for the very first time or want more input to enjoy the full challenge of the mountain – our instructor team will be there for you this winter.

 

 

Top quality ski instruction

Oak Hall offers top quality ski instruction and ski equipment hire in all our resorts. Our Oak Hall ski instructors will be there, keen to help in every resort this season.  Places in the classes are limited. This cost is refundable up to eight weeks before the holiday departs.

Snowboard instruction in selected resorts

With snowboarding now firmly part of our programme, we are delighted to offer Oak Hall snowboard instruction and snowboard equipment hire in the following resorts:

Jungfrau (L/LA/LX)

Engelberg (EG/EA)

Saas (All trips to Monte Moro S/SX and Chalet Florida coded FA/FX)

Zillertal (All trips to Hotel Alpenblick coded Z/ZA/ZX)

Please note that due to the physical demands of learning to snowboard and our range of equipment sizes, the minimum age for snowboard instruction & equipment hire is 12 years.

Skiing & snowboarding instruction packages at a remarkable low cost

For beginners and basic improvers - 5 x 2 hour progressive sessions for just £55. These sessions will normally take place on the first 5 consecutive mornings of your trip (subject to local conditions) in a friendly and encouraging atmosphere.

For those with greater experience – 5 x 2-hour sessions for £55. For early intermediates, this package includes 5 x 2 hour lessons. For intermediates, this package includes 3 x 2 hour lessons with two 2-hour advanced focus sessions. During these, there may be the opportunity to cover techniques such as freestyle and half-pipe for snowboarding; bumps, blades, carving, off-piste or just ski guiding to a specific area of the resort.

Advanced Skiing at Outstanding Value

Personal Performance Ski Courses on trips coded: L6/LA6/LX6, L8/LA8/LX8, JA9/JX9, TA14/TX14, FA16/FX16. The ever-popular Personal Performance Course (PPC) will run for those with 10 weeks or more experience who are confident on all pisted runs. We will be looking at skiing beyond normal piste conditions - bumps, steeps, variable snow and higher speed carving as well as developing all round skills.

The course includes 20 hours' coaching on the mountain and video analysis in the evenings with time to provide individual feedback and attention. The PPC's will be run by our senior BASI instructors and are available for just £145 – simply outstanding value.

Whatever your level of experience, we would recommend that you ensure a measure of personal physical fitness to get the most out of your skiing or snowboarding experience this coming winter.
