2012 Olympics from Oak Hall Manor

Camp at Otford Manor as the base for your 2012 Olympic visit.   

With London hosting the 2012 Olympics. We are right on the door-step for this ‘once in a life time’ event.  Otford Manor is ideally located, being just half an hour by train to central London, and just 10 minutes drive from the M25, and M20, yet it is set in an area of outstanding natural beauty, which offers quieter, more relaxed surroundings.

We are offering our guests the opportunity to share the camping facilities at Otford Manor as a base for those requiring easy access to London. With the Olympic Park around 20 miles away, this is an ideal base from which to travel into London, yet return to the peace and tranquility of the Kent countryside.

Each day there will be a time of Bible teaching, to which you are invited to attend.

We will offer daily shuttle service to Otford train station where trains run directly to central London. The Oak Hall facility will be available for the olympics from 25th July to 15th August, subject to a minimum of two night stay.

This is a self catering event, giving you the freedom to eat out or return to your unit to prepare an evening meal. Each evening there will be opportunity to meet with fellow campers as we share an Oak Hall hot chocolate together.

Breathtaking views high in the hills

Oak Hall is situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. There are breathtaking views across the Weald of Kent, and the area is a blaze of colour for much of the year. The house is situated on the North Downs Way and offers easy access to footpaths in the surrounding countryside.
 

Loving our Environment

God’s creation is beautiful and we want to do our part to protect it. At Oak Hall we have fifty acres of preserved woodland with hundreds of oaks, birches and beech trees. It provides an un-spoilt habitat for the wildlife including owls, badgers and foxes. A further one hundred acres of downs and pastures provide us with walks amongst the flowers and rare orchids.
 
 
Arrivals

Pitches are available from mid-day on day of arrival and we ask you to vacate your pitch by 11:30 on day of departure. Each pitch is subject to a minimum of two night stay. The site offers fresh water points, grey water disposal and recycling facilities. There is a WC and CDP provided. Showers are currently under construction. There are only a limited number of EHU’s, however we are able to provide a leisure battery charging service Supermarkets and local shops are all within easy reach. We would remind you that Otford Manor is an alcohol and pet free site. Children welcome!

DATES: 25th July to 15th August The dates for booking are flexible and can be chosen here on the website. PRICES: The cost is £10 per night per camping pitch plus £2 per person per night. There is also a £10 booking fee.
