Breathtaking views high in the hills
Oak Hall is situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. There are breathtaking views across the Weald of Kent, and the area is a blaze of colour for much of the year. The house is situated on the North Downs Way and offers easy access to footpaths in the surrounding countryside.
Relaxing by the pool or playing volleyball
With one hundred and fifty acres of grounds there is plenty of space for everybody to relax. There is a games hall with table tennis, pool and table football. A volleyball court is also available. The swimming pool on the terrace, available from June to September, faces south to absorb the warmth of the sunshine.
Loving our Environment
God’s creation is beautiful and we want to do our part to protect it. At Oak Hall we have fifty acres of preserved woodland with hundreds of oaks, birches and beech trees. It provides an unspoilt habitat for the wildlife including owls, badgers and foxes. A further one hundred acres of downs and pastures provide us with walks amongst the flowers and rare orchids.
Excellent meals in the Tudor Dining Hall
Meals are served in our Tudor Dining Hall, where there is a welcoming log fire in cooler weather. We pride ourselves on providing the very best in traditional English meals and dishes from across the world.
Plenty to see and do...
Kent is a county that caters for a wide range of interests. You can explore Leeds Castle, Knole Deer Park, Lullingstone Roman Villa, Chartwell, Bewl Water, and many other fascinating places. In addition there is the fun of ice-skating or ten-pin bowling just a short drive away. We are also within easy reach of the sights of London.
The Oak Hall Team will organise a range of events for each weekend. These might include our own orienteering course, a quiz evening, or a Treasure Hunt by car or bike. However if you prefer just to relax, that’s fine with us!
Our weekends start on Friday 8pm to 3pm on Sunday - except for the "North Downs Walking" and "Cycle Kent" weekends which begin on Thursday at 8pm
Accommodation is in shared rooms. The cost of each weekend includes: accommodation, all activities, coffee and biscuits on the first evening and three meals on full days, as well as breakfast and roast lunch on Sunday.
