Oak Hall events are planned with those in their 20s and 30s in mind, but all are welcome who enjoy our relaxed style.
For those travelling unaccompanied the minimum age is 18 years. Whilst families are welcome, we have a lower age limit of 7 years; except in Engelberg on EG9 and EG10 where younger children are welcome.
While our instructors are really pleased to teach children, our resort team may request parents to accompany their children during lessons even though this may affect the parent’s own lesson arrangements. We would ask parents to note that our team are not able to take responsibility for children outside of lesson times and to be mindful of the need for close supervision of children in the mountain environment at all times.
Everything is done carefully and well
We ask you to pay the balance due to us at least 2 calendar months before departure. Please carefully note this date, as due to the popularity of our trips we may need to pass your place on to another person at this point and in order to keep our holiday costs low we may not issue reminders.
In the unlikely event of a holiday cancellation by Oak Hall, we will notify you straight away to offer you suitable alternatives for your holiday, or, if you prefer, refund your holiday money in full.
Our prices are calculated to include the current arrangements and rate for VAT. We will absorb any changes in currency exchange rates up to 2% deviation from the rate on 10 May 2007 (E & O.E.)
All your payments for travel by coach are kept in a Trust Account until after your holiday is completed. This provides your security for protection against the unlikely event of insolvency and ensures a full refund and repatriation.
In addition, the air holidays and flights in this brochure are ATOL protected by the Civil Aviation Authority. Our reference is ATOL3207 held in the name of Oak Hall Expeditions Ltd. In the unlikely event of our insolvency, the CAA will ensure that you are not stranded abroad or will arrange to refund any money you have paid to us for an advance booking.
We will help if you need to change your booking
We know that sometimes your plans may change. We will do our best to help if you want to change your booking to an alternative winter 2008 trip, or transfer your place to another person of your choice, more than two calendar months before departure. Please note that in the case of a name substitution, the deposit paid (£50) and any insurance premium paid is non-transferable and is therefore payable by your nominee. After the 2-calendar months full-payment deadline we are unable to make any such changes.
Bringing some friends to enjoy Wintersports with you
When you bring a group of 10 friends or more then the 11th place is free! The offer covers the basic cost of your holiday by coach from Folkestone or holidays where we invite you to choose your own flights to meet us at an airport. For holiday weeks when we arrange Oak Hall group flights the offer includes the holiday cost less the flight cost.
This offer is available on all weeks except 3, 9, 10, 15, 16 and 17 (all trips to Schladming-Haus are excluded).
From your initial phone enquiry, we will be pleased to hold places for your group on any eligible holiday (as indicated above) for up to 3 weeks and send you the appropriate materials to help you collect the booking details and deposit payments from your friends. (Such requests need to be made as soon as possible as offers are subject to availability.)
Having sent us your group reservation forms and deposits in one envelope you can relax as we will then deal with each individual or family directly regarding final payments and any further details. Please note: that only booking forms and respective cheques received together are eligible for this group offer.

If you prefer to use the post, please complete a reservation form, by printing one out from this website or from inside the back page of our brochure and post it to us with a cheque for your £50 deposit per person and any room supplements, and any ski instruction costs. Please consider a second choice of trip in the event that your first choice is fully booked in the time between you posting your form and it reaching us.
If you book within 2-calendar months of the date of departure, we kindly ask you to pay the full holiday cost and ensure that you have holiday insurance at that stage. Please detail any preferences you may have for sharing rooms (with family and friends) at the time of booking and we will do our best to help to make it happen.

On receipt of your booking application we will send you postal confirmation of your successful reservation onto the trip of your choice or contact you to discuss other alternatives including waitlist options for specific fully-booked trips. This confirmation will give you final information about your particular holiday including travel details with meeting and return times.
