We stay in the luxurious warmth of a beautiful traditional four-star hotel at Strass in the beautiful Zillertal. With wood beams, carvings and traditional Austrian customs the hotel is an authentic taste of Tirolean culture. Accommodation is in en-suite rooms for two (larger rooms are available on request).

Exploring Snow-Laden Valleys by Steam Train
After our full breakfast has nourished us, our Oak Hall leader shares plans for the day. We set off to experience the beauty of the snow. On board the narrow gauge railway we wind our way past the snow-covered farms and through the tiny villages.

Exploring Beethoven's Salzburg and Picturesque Innsbruck
Innsbruck and Salzburg await us with their excellent coffee shops and winter decorations. The floodlit landmarks stand out against the snowy slopes.
