Insurance for your Journey

We ask all guests travelling with Oak Hall to ensure they are covered by a travel insurance policy for the duration of their Expedition. We are able to help with this by offering recommended cover at a competitive rate.

Summer and Winter Expeditions

As you will see, this includes options for single trip or annual multi-trip insurance. There are three different levels of cover: Economy, Standard and Premier. We would recommend Premier cover as it offers the most comprehesive level of cover. Economy cover only offers cancellation cover up to a value of £500 so would not be suitable for any Oak Hall Expeditions over this value.

Please Check the Policy 
It is worth checking the policy to make sure it is suitable for you. For example, it does not provide cover for those who normally live outside the European Union, or have been out of the EU for more than 6 months in the year prior to purchasing the policy.

Please note that you should contact the medical screening helpline (0870 737 6074) before purchasing the insurance if you have any pre-existing medical conditions. You should quote Rock Insurance as the provider of the insurance when you call this number.

Alternative insurance
If you would prefer, you can arrange alternative travel insurance. In this case, please send us the details of your cover when paying the balance for your expedition so that our leader could contact the insurance company on your behalf should this be needed.
