Oak Hall Features

Verbier is a stunning resort for the snowsports enthusiast and our accommodation on the piste at 7218 feet enables us to make the most of it.
AN AMAZING PLACE FOR THE ADVANCED SKIER, AS WELL AS A GOOD PLACE TO LEARN
Verbier’s reputation as a premier resort is well known! The resort is set in stunning scenery and provides amazing views all the way to Mont Blanc. With a huge 410km of groomed runs, Verbier is the perfect place for enthusiastic skiers of all abilities to progress to the next level. The wide, sunny, south facing runs outside our accommodation are a good place for "first-timers" to begin their adventures and for others to build their confidence while the black slopes below Mont Fort (10,925 feet) will stretch the most advanced skier or boarder. Verbier offers some of the finest and most accessible off-piste in the Alps, one peak (Mont Gelé, 9918 feet) is entirely devoted to off-piste skiing.
STAYING AT 7218 FEET WITH DOORSTEP SKIING
We are the first on the mountain every morning. With no journey to the slopes, our Maison de Vacances in the lift station at 7218 feet provides true "ski-in, ski-out" accommodation. On powder days the first set of tracks is made by Oak Hall skis, before people staying below in the village have even joined the queue for the cable car!
A HOME ON THE SLOPES
Having a home at the top of the mountain means that at any time we can return and enjoy a hot drink, catch up with other people or eat our packed lunch in our very own dining room with a view out across the mountains and valleys of the Four Valleys region.
At 4:30 pm the mountain closes and other skiers have to go home but we get to stay. Few places are more peaceful than an empty mountain as the sun sets and we eat good food together prepared by our Oak Hall team. After 4:30 pm there is no access to or from the village below, but this is an advantage as we spend time together praising God and learning from His Word in the evening meeting, then drink hot chocolate, swap stories of the day, play games and maybe unwind with a ski movie.

PLENTY TO DO IN THE FAMOUS TOWN
With such extensive skiing you may hardly visit the town but a visit does provide plenty to enjoy. Renowned for its shops, cafés and restaurants, Verbier offers many alternatives to winter sports including the sports centre with an indoor swimming pool.
