Bible Weekends / Weeks
To many Christians, much of the Bible is something of a mystery. We all have our favourite passages, but how does it all fit together? Is there a map to find our way around? How can it be interpreted and applied to our fast changing 21st Century world?
Oak Hall’s Unlocking the Bible events are a tremendous opportunity to study the Scriptures in a relaxed setting and you will have a unique opportunity to study the Bible in greater depth. The events are aimed at those who are keen to know more of the way God has worked with His people, His plans for them and us, and His promises and commitment.
Unlocking the Bible events aim to present the teaching of the Bible in a very relevant and helpful way and help you to understand the way the Bible is written and structured. They will help you “get under the skin” of the texts, learning what the Bible actually says; it’s relevance for us today, and how to explore it further.
These are not ‘academic’ workshops, but practical, down-to-earth studies. The Unlocking the Bible events have proved very popular and as accommodation is limited to 70 places, we would urge you to get your booking in as soon as possible. We can assure you that will not be disappointed in what you discover about the Bible and your faith over the period of your stay.
The cost has been kept to an absolute minimum to enable as many as possible to take advantage of these events. Residential places are available from £65.00, and £135.00 for Bible Weekends and Bible Weeks respectively. Accommodation is in shared rooms and non-residential places cost £25.00 per day on Saturdays and £15 per day on Sundays. The price includes all meals.
The Unlocking the Bible weekends start on Friday evening and finish after Sunday lunch at 2 pm, with the Unlocking the Bible Weeks starting on Monday and finishing on Friday.
