Book a trip to Bohemia

Originally an independent Kingdom, Bohemia is a land of stunning castles, intriguing caves and meandering rivers that cross attractive countryside.

Three-star hotel in an attractive location
We stay in an excellent hotel in Beroun, an attractive town which provides an ideal base for our tour. One direction provides easy access to Prague and the other opens a gateway to two regions that have been protected for their natural beauty. We use our own luxury, air-conditioned coach to explore the highlights of Bohemia.

Exploring Southern Bohemia
Our tour represents excellent value for money, as it includes coach transport for all our excursions. We visit Karlstejn Castle, in a beautiful location, surrounded by vast areas of untouched forest. Here, Charles IV locked himself away from the world with his jewels.

Not far from Beroun are some of the most impressive natural features of Bohemia: the stalagmite caves at Koneprusy. These extend over 2km and across three levels offering the visitor a chance to discover a completely different world.

Secret tunnels and magnificent castles
Tabor is a picturesque town with secret tunnels that are still used today. Deep into Southern Bohemia, the impressive castle at Hluboka was remodelled in the 19th century in the style of Windsor Castle. Its stunning woodwork and beautifully decorated rooms are well worth exploring.

Around 700 years ago, Kutna Hora rivalled Prague as Bohemia’s seat of power. Its wealth was based around a silver mine, and this beautiful medieval town is now on UNESCO’s World Heritage List.

The picturesque, royal city of Prague
The heart of Bohemia is the magnificent city of Prague. Virtually undamaged by World War II, it is considered by many to be one of the most beautiful cities in Europe. Its famous landmarks include the 9th century castle and the square below, in which Good King Wenceslas sits astride his horse. A guided tour enables us to discover the highlights of Prague.

A city full of intrigue and atmosphere
On Charles Bridge the vibrancy of the modern city meets with its interesting history, as a wide range of local artists and musicians share their talents with the world passing by.

For a relaxed way of gaining a different perspective on the city you might choose to take a cruise down the river or a carriage ride through the Old Town.

Excellent accommodation in a Best Western hotel
The three-star Hotel Grand is part of the Best Western chain and offers en-suite rooms for two. At the end of each day we will return to our hotel for an evening meal and an interesting Bible talk.
