Below you will find details of the meeting points for our expeditions. Generally these start at Folkestone, with pick-up points available at Otford Sainsburys and Borough Green Train Station. Parking is available at Oak Hall.

The pick up points for each destination will be indicated on the page that gives the dates and prices for that particular location.

Folkestone Meeting Point: Stop 24

As there is no pick-up facility at Eurotunnel, our Folkestone meeting point is the motorway services 'Stop 24', just off junction 11 on the M20 (www.stop24.co.uk). It can be accessed in both directions on the motorway. For details of parking charges, please visit the Stop 24 website.

It is difficult to access Stop 24 by foot from Westenhanger train station, so we suggest using the Borough Green pick-up point if you are coming by train. 

Borough Green & Wrotham Train Station

For those wishing to travel by rail to meet the Oak Hall coach, we offer a coach pick-up from Borough Green & Wrotham train station. Borough Green Station is only 45 minutes on a direct line from London Victoria. Train times and ticket prices can be found on the National Rail website: National Rail Enquiries - Official source for UK train times and timetables.

Otford Meeting Point: Sainsburys

For those who live close to Otford and are planning to be dropped off by friends or relations, we ask that you arrange to meet the Oak Hall coach at the car park between Sainsburys and McDonalds. Please arrange to be there at the specified meeting time.

For those wishing to drive themselves to Otford to join the coach, car parking is available at Otford Manor at a small cost per car. We will take drivers to meet the coach at the Otford Sainsburys meeting point. Please arrange to arrive at Otford Manor at the specified time for the shuttle to Sainsburys. You can find directions to reach Otford Manor by car here.

Bruges and Ypres day trips

The meeting point is Vestry Road, Otford TN14 5EL. Please note that there is no Folkestone meeting point.

Oak Hall, Otford Manor

By Car:

NB: SatNav systems are often less reliable to help you reach the manor than our directions!  If you use a SatNav, include the postcode TN15 6XL and the road name, 'Shorehill Lane'. 

With Otford Station on your right, take the next right (Pilgrims Way East), signposted 'Kemsing'. 

After about 1/2 mile, take the first left turn (Rowdow).

 
 

If you reach the turning in this photo, you have passed Rowdow and will need to return to the Rowdow junction. Please do not proceed up this road as it leads to some very very kind neighbours but not to Oak Hall, Otford Manor.
 

At the top of Rowdow, bear around to the right (Birchin Cross Road) and Shorehill Lane is the first turning on your right about 400 yards further on. At the end of this lane, bear left and go up the drive to Oak Hall Manor.

For guests boarding the Oak Hall coach for an expedition, car parking is available at Otford Manor at a small cost per car. We will take drivers to meet the coach at the Otford Sainsbury's meeting point.

By Rail: 

Otford Station is just 35 minutes from London Victoria.  If you are booked in for one of our Otford Manor events, you will need to take a taxi for the last two miles up to us from the station. We suggest that you call the taxi when you are about 10 minutes from Otford Station.
