One Church Weekend Away!

Moments where we can come together as one big church family are always special - but they can be difficult to organise due to limitations of time and space. And that’s why we’re having our One Church Weekend Away! This will be an opportunity for us to gather for quality, extended time together, away from normal day to day life. 

There are lots of different accommodation options to enable as many as possible to be there - see below. 
 

When & Where is it?

The Weekend Away 2024 dates are: Friday 19th July - Sunday 21st July.

We are heading to the lovely Otford Manor (TN15 6XF) in Kent with a journey time of about 30 minutes from the church. 

Fri: You can arrive on site from 2pm. For those with catered tickets dinner will be at 6pm. We will be having a meeting all together at 7pm.

Sun: We will have a morning meeting followed by lunch all together - provided for both catered and non-catered tickets. After lunch there will be time for socialising and packing away our things before heading off by late afternoon.

To make the event as accessible as possible we have reduced ticket costs and will subsidise the event with part of our special offering which will be taken later in the year.
  • 13th May all prices go up £10
  • Children are ages 4 years - 17 years. (0-3 years are free).
Prices below are pre 13th May early bird prices. An additional £10 per person supplement will now be added automatically at the time of booking. 

Residential Tickets:
Adults accommodated and catered for - £125 - FULL!
Children accommodated and catered for - £80 - FULL!

Camping Tickets:
Adults camping and catered for - £90
Children camping and catered for - £60

Adults camping and self-catered - £45
Children camping and self-catered - £25
(Note: Sunday lunch provided)

Weekend Non Residential Passes: (Inc. Friday)
Adult weekend non residential day passes (Fri, Sat & Sun) - £44
Children weekend non residential day passes (Fri, Sat & Sun) - £24
(Weekend passes include Friday dinner, Saturday dinner (bring your own lunch) and Sunday lunch)

Single Day Pass:
Adult single day pass (Sat or Sun) - £28
Children single day pass (Sat or Sun) - £18
(Saturday day pass includes dinner (bring your own lunch). Sunday day pass includes Sunday lunch)

If you have any issues with finances please do speak to your community leader or contact the church office. Payments can be made it instalments, full payment is due 1 month before for the weekend. 
 
 

Oak Hall Rooms

Each indoor room has a wash basin, with showers and WCs located along each corridor. Accommodation is over three areas, with a mixture of single, twin and shared family (dorm) rooms, with bunks.

Please do include a room preference in the guest notes when booking. This will be taken into account when allocating rooms but cannot be guaranteed.
 
 

Camping

Bring your own tent! The camping fields have their own showers & WC’s together with a camper’s kitchen facility, which includes, fridge, freezer, kettle & microwave. Grey water and chemical toilet disposal points are also available along with fresh water and recycling facilities.
 

Catering throughout the Weekend

For those who book catered tickets the Oak Hall team will keep you well fed through the weekend! Please do include all dietary requirements when making the booking. 

On Sunday there is lunch for EVERYONE! We will join together as the One Church community and feast altogether.
