Catering: Dangerous Camping with Faith in Kids

Meals will be catered for centrally by the Oak Hall team from Friday dinner to Sunday breakfast, so you have more time to spend with your child. Where meals are cooked for us they will be served and eaten within each pod. There are also kitchens available to you which contain a fridge & kettle and serve as the dish-washing areas.

Please find below some notes about the meal arrangements.

For Dangerous Camping we look to provide the same simple menu for everyone who is coming. We divide the whole group into groups of 30, and food is collected from a central area and distributed locally amongst each smaller group.

In previous years the menu was:

Friday
Sausage Casserole with Pasta + ice cream

Saturday
Cereal & BBQ Bacon butties
Packed Lunch with selection of sandwich fillings provided
BBQ Burgers & cookies

Sunday
Cereal & BBQ Hot Dogs
  • Breakfast & Dinner are cooked on open BBQ’s
  • Items are provided for packed lunches.
We have yet to confirm the menu – however it is likely to be similar.

Special Diets:
We will do our best to accommodate those with food allergies, however there may need to be some flexibility with options at mealtimes. There is access to a fridge and microwave should you wish to bring any items to supplement the food for yourself.
  • soya milk will be available in the campers kitchens: you will need to walk over and use this milk as required, as there may be others who will share this milk.
  • free from cereal will be available from the central cook's area each morning: you will need to come and help yourself as this is shared with other guests.
