We invite you to join us for five refreshing days during one of the very best weeks of the season, with the added comfort of no overnight travel.

Our hotel is just six miles from Keukenhof, the world-famous spring garden where more than seven million tulips, daffodils and hyacinths create an unforgettable display.

There are also flower shows in the pavilions, adding even more variety to this wonderful day.

A unique interactive museum

At the open-air Zuiderzee Museum, we will experience the atmosphere of traditional Dutch village life.

Historic crafts are demonstrated around the site, and there is time to walk among old buildings including the church, windmill and cheese warehouse.

The museum also includes a large collection of historic wooden ships, giving a fascinating glimpse into the life and heritage of this distinctive part of Holland.
 
 
 
 
 

Tulips from Amsterdam

Amsterdam is a city full of character, with historic buildings, museums and a maze of narrow back streets to explore.

A canal cruise is one of the most relaxing ways to enjoy the city, gliding past bridges, gabled houses and waterside views.

There will also be time to pause in one of the many cafés, enjoy some refreshment and listen to the sound of the carillon bells drifting across the city.

The medieval city of Ghent

On our return journey, we will stop in the beautiful medieval city of Ghent.

In the Middle Ages, Ghent was one of the richest cities in Europe, and it still retains the atmosphere of a thriving medieval city state.

The Cloth Hall stands at the heart of the city, a reminder of the fifteenth-century cloth merchants who once met there.
 
 

Excellent value

We will be staying at the four-star NH Leeuwenhorst hotel, with breakfast and evening meals provided. The hotel has an indoor swimming pool, as well as a bowling alley and squash court.

The cost of the coach excursions and the entrance fees to Keukenhof and the Zuiderzee Museum are all included.

After days filled with spring colour, historic towns and beautiful scenery, we will enjoy listening to a Bible message in the evenings.

Depart UK. Arrive at the hotel the same day. Please note that the itinerary below is provisional
Day #2
The highlight of our visits is Keukenhof, which has more than 7 million tulips, daffodils and hyacinths making a beautiful springtime display. The fragrance and exotic colours surround us as we enjoy the 79 acres of grounds. In addition, there are flower shows in the pavilions. We will spend a whole day exploring this amazing site.
Day #3
At the open air Zuiderzee Museum, experience traditional Dutch village life as historic crafts are demonstrated. Walk among the old buildings with the church, the windmill, the cheese warehouse, the shops, fish-curing shed and a large collection of historic wooden ships.
Day #4
Amsterdam has numerous historic buildings and museums set in a maze of tiny back streets. A canal cruise boat is one of the most relaxing ways to see the city. Numerous cafés provide refreshment as we listen to the tunes played by the bells of a carillon.
Day #5
Depart our hotel. On our return journey to the UK we will stop in the medieval city of Ghent. In the Middle Ages Ghent was one of the richest cities in Europe. It still has the atmosphere of a thriving medieval city state. The centrepiece of the city is the Cloth Hall, where the cloth merchants used to meet in the fifteenth century.

Dates/Prices

The cost includes all taxes, return travel by luxury, air-conditioned double deck coach from Folkestone (other coach pick-ups available at Sainsbury's in Otford or Borough Green train station: £16 return. Click here for more details) and four-star hotel accommodation. Rooms are for two and en-suite. Day 1: lunch included on ferry. Days 2 - 4: breakfast and evening meals at hotel. It also includes transport for the excursions and entrance fees to Keukenhof and the Zuiderzee Museum.

The deposit is £50 if booking more than two months in advance (plus single room supplement, if applicable).

Coach timings will be available once the ferry/Eurotunnel schedules have been released.

Please note that the coach does not travel overnight for this holiday, so you should arrive and depart on the dates shown above.

Please note that we don't make any savings if you travel independently, so we are unable to pass on a discount on the coach price.
