Ski down to the village of Aprica

The ski fields above Aprica have a good range of pistes for everyone, from complete beginners to advanced skiers, with scenic runs from 2300m. There is an impressively prepared nursery area at the base of the mountain for beginners. This is a great resort for skiers of all abilities, especially beginners and intermediates. With three ski areas interlinked with scenic traverses, it can all be accessed via the lift station right by the hotel.

Ski holidays in Italy are renowned for their warm Italian hospitality, delicious food, coffee stops in the mountains (at reasonable prices!) and that leisurely, no-crush, no-rush atmosphere with wide open ski runs. 
 
 

An Italian mountain haven

Aprica is situated on the pass between Lake Como and the Dolomites. It is in a bright, sunny area yet with predominantly north-facing slopes that give the benefit of reliable snow and little wind. On the ski runs there are plenty of sun terraces and places to eat providing good rest stops for lunch. With a variety of shops and cafés in the village serving pizza, Italian cakes, ice-creams and their classic hot chocolates, this is an Italian haven!

Hotel Funivia offers en-suite rooms as standard and gives us a fantastic opportunity to stay at the heart of the action as we can ski right to the door - it's right next to the Baradello cableway leading to our ski slopes.
 

Wonderful Italian food and great evenings together

Our hotel will give us a warm welcome and lovely dining experience when we return from the slopes each day. Every evening, after a delicious authentic Italian meal, we will enjoy a dynamic and helpful Bible talk before heading out for other fun activities together in the town.

Hotel with en-suite rooms for 3 or 4. Alternative rooms available on payment of a supplement. Two meals each day after arrival. Bed linen and towels provided. Lift pass not included in basic price.

For AP9 , the Oak Hall flights are now fully booked, but if you are able to arrange your own flights or alternative travel, we would be delighted for you to join us! As you click through the booking process, there will be an option to select independent travel; this removes the cost of the Oak Hall flights before you complete your booking. If you have any questions as you book, we are on hand to help!

Independent Travel

You can select to travel independently during the booking process (NB we are unable to book one way flights or change the date of travel).

You can see the independent discount on the same page as the group flight times (click on 'View/Book' if you are viewing this message on the Dates and Prices page).

Please note that there may be a limit to the numbers of places available with independent travel.

The cost for the optional airport transfer is shown later in the booking process.

The airport transfer is booked to coincide with the group flights. Please note that the driver would not be able to wait if you miss the transfer on the first day. If you are not booking on the same flight as the group, we would suggest booking a flight that arrives at least 2 hours before the group flight in case of any delays to your flight.

On the last day, please book a flight which departs after the group flight if you wish to use the airport transfer.

Please do not book your flights until you have received an email from Oak Hall confirming your place on this trip.

If you are travelling independently but someone else in your party will use the group flights, please make separate bookings.

If there are any changes to the holiday, we would not be able to cover the cost of changes to your independent flights. We would therefore recommend booking fully flexible tickets or joining the holiday using our flights.
