Spectacular Melchsee-Frutt

Nestled on the shores of a sparkling mountain lake, Melchsee-Frutt is a picturesque, secret haven in the Swiss mountains. The village is traffic-free, and situated between the Bernese Oberland holiday destination of Hasliberg and the central Swiss resort of Engelberg, this is a winter wonderland waiting to be explored!

With 36kms of runs from a height of 2,255m, this is a great resort for experiencing the exciting sport of skiing offering varying degrees of difficulty - from beginners' slopes through to more challenging off-piste runs. For those who love speed, the Skicross slope provides a fast-paced mix of jumps, waves, curves and sliders. Freestylers, will enjoy the 'Fruttpark', where we find rails, kickers and boxes.

At a point in the calendar when skiing is usually most expensive, our Oak Hall New Year holiday to Melchsee-Frutt is a new highlight in our winter programme. Travelling by our luxury Oak Hall coach, we avoid the bustle of international airports and instead smoothly travel out together through the night, enjoying free hot chocolate and great conversation on the way!

Our warm and comfortable mountain centre is a five minute walk from the heart of the village (or catch the local bus) where the gondola whisks us to and from the mountains. With its captivating view of Piz Scalottas and an untouched, natural landscape, we return after a day's skiing to enjoy a reviving meal before our programme of evening events begins including a short, helpful Bible talk.
